Affiliate Registration
What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is a form of advertising in which the advertiser pays for results. Affiliates are paid a percentage of the revenues generated from people they referred to our site. Currently, SilverHeaven pays 5.00% commission on all orders generated within 30 days of referral.
How can you know where customers come from?
A unique link is given to every affiliate. When someone clicks on the link, they will go to our regular site, but we will be able to see that they were referred by you.
Who can run an affiliate program?
Ideally, the program is designed for a webmaster that wants to generate revenue. We offer a number of ads that you can put on your site that will link to us.
What if I don't have a website?
An affiliate program can also work for an individual or oganization that sends out emails on a regular basis. If you have a mailing list that you run, you can put your unique link to the site in the text of the email.
What about orders that are made offline?
As we have no way to track orders made offline, we cannot pay commissions on orders made offline. We strongly encourage everyone to order online - orders can be made by check or credit card through our website.
When are we paid?
SilverHeaven.com sends out checks quarterly (April 1st, July 1st, October 1st, and January 1st). You must have earned $50.00 in commissions in order to receive a check for the quarter. If you have not reached the $50.00 in a quarter, we will carry over the amount to the next quarter. Commissions are only paid on the cost of the item - shipping, tax, or gift wrapping are not included.
